    Student Council

Student Council serves as the Union’s main decision-making body for students. It is made up of representatives who work to represent your interests. Council will review any submitted policy as well as offer feedback on consultations based on matters which matter to students.

Currently your Representatives on Student Council are the Part-Time Officers and Student Voice Representatives. You can view who these are on the Your Officers Page

Any student can attend and observe student council. Alternatively, you can submit a question to an officer or submit proposals via the Union’s democratic processes.

    Your Policies

Democratic policies can relate to any issue which matters to students and can look at anything from changing requirements for student groups to mandating Officers to work to improve University provisions. If approved and ratified by Trustee Board, they serve as Union policy for up to 3 years.
