SU Officers

We are a student-led organization, meaning that all of our student council officers are current students at USW, while our executive officers are either alumni or part-time students.

Sabbatical Officers

Full-time Sabbatical Officers are USW students that have taken a year out of their studies or have recently graduated and are responsible for making high-level decisions for the Students’ Union. They are annually elected and work a full academic year supporting activities, running campaigns and making sure your student voice is heard at the highest level.

 

 

  • Activities VP The Activities Officer represents the interests of sports clubs, teams and societies at USW, as well as being the lead officer on extra-curricular activities.
  • Education Officer The Education Officer represents students and offers support on education related matters. They liaise directly with the University to bring about positive change for the student body and are accountable to the President of the Students’ Union.
  • President The President of the Students’ Union is responsible for leading the Exec Officer team and ensuring the student voice is heard at a university, local and national level by lobbying and campaigning.
  • Welfare Officer The Welfare Officer represents students and offers support on welfare related matters. They liaises directly with the University to bring about positive change for the student body and are accountable to the President of the Students’ Union.
