The Student Choice Awards allow students to nominate USW staff and students who have made a real difference to their learning and development and recognise innovative and inspiring teaching practices. USW Students work with the Students’ Union to organise and deliver the awards. This is sixth year of the Student Choice Awards.

 

Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination in 2016/2017, we recieved an amazing 1,1324 nominations.

 

This year's Student Choice Awards nominations will open on Wednesday 14th February and close on Wednesday 14th March.

The ceremony itself will be held on the Tuesday 24th April. 

 

Who can be nominated for an award?

Any member of staff or student who you feel has made a real difference to your learning/experience at USW can be nominated:

  • Who brings your subject to life?
  • Whose teaching always makes you want to learn more?
  • Who listens when you need to ask that ‘obvious’ question?
  • Who makes you feel valued as a learner?
  • Who gave you that really helpful feedback that helped you to move on?
  • Who helps to keep your project or dissertation on track?
  •

  • Outstanding Student Support (Non-Teaching Staff)

Student Categories

  • Course Representative of the year
