So yer interested in The Pirate Society? Well, let me tell ye why ye should join our crew, mateys! 🏴☠️
The Pirate Society is a social based group, with a focus on being a safe space for those who are neurodivergent, part of the LGBTQ+ community or are generally a bit nervous. You don't have to fit into those categories to join, but some events may be catered towards people who do, and you also don't have to like pirates to join.
So, what does a Pirate Society actually do?
We run weekly social meets every Tuesday based in or around Trefforest Campus, alongside this, we also host monthly movie nights and other activity nights such as board game nights, arts and crafts, Dungeons and Dragons and other activities with a piratey twist. We run bi-monthly coffee afternoons on the first and last Sunday of the month for those who may want to socialise in a more relaxed manner.

We're always open to suggestions for themed nights too if you have any suggestions in mind. Pirate attire is fun if you'd like to dress up to attend, but it is never mandatory- you won't be made to walk the plank if you come along in casual clothes.
We're free to join, but some events may have a cost (such as travel costs or ticket costs depending on what we do).
