Welcome to the USW Music Society!
USW Music Society was created as a place for people who have a passion for music to socialise and perform with each other. Our members have musical skills ranging from beginner to advanced: everyone is able to join, and all skills, musical knowledge, tastes and instruments are welcome!
We have two groups that meet weekly in the Student's Union building on the Treforest campus:
Wednesday: Band (6-10pm; Meeting Room One, upstairs in the Student Union building) Thursday: Band (6-10pm; Cables, downstairs in the Student Union building); Acoustics (7-10pm; Meeting Room One, upstairs in the Student Union building)
Our sessions are running throughout the year, starting on Thursday 28th of September 2023, and on the last Sunday of every month we host a live music night at Lyndon's Lounge. We have our own drum kit, microphone, guitar amp, and several instruments that are open for anyone to use.
