One vote for me, one vote for you!
Why are you standing in the Elections?
I’m running for re-election as VP Activities to continue the work I’ve started in supporting and empowering students. Over the past year, I’ve been working on initiatives like 'Walk the walk' podcast, organising Varsity 2025 in partnership with UWE, and introduced ‘Priority Booking’ policy to support sports clubs and societies. I’ve also represented student interests in various forums, supported mental health as an accredited MHFA, and championed sustainability efforts. I’m committed to creating more opportunities for students and ensuring ongoing support for clubs and societies, while representing student interests at all levels.
If elected, what do you want to achieve during your time in office?
If re-elected, I will continue driving student engagement through key initiatives like hosting Varsity 2026, expand opportunities for students to volunteer both on and off-campus, and enhance support for clubs and societies. I’m committed to raising awareness around sustainability with a campus-wide campaign, while fostering networking opportunities through our new podcast, Walk the Walk. I will also ensure student voices are heard and represented across various platforms to guarantee a lasting impact.
What do you see as your biggest strength and biggest weakness and why?
My biggest strength is my passion for co-curricular activities, which allows me to understand and address the challenges faced by our volunteers. My experience in sports and cultural activities has given me insight into their needs. However, my biggest weakness I'd say is being a bit of an empath. While it allows me to connect deeply with others, I’ve learned to manage it to maintain a healthy balance between my dedication and personal well-being.
