About Us
Welcome to USW Hockey! 🏑❤️
Whether you’ve been playing hockey for years, haven’t picked up a stick since school, or have never played before, USW Hockey is a friendly and welcoming club for students of all abilities.
At the heart of the club is our competitive women’s team, giving players the opportunity to represent the University of South Wales in competitive university hockey. Whether you're an experienced player or looking to develop your game, we’d love to hear from anyone interested in joining the squad.
But USW Hockey is about much more than just competitive matches. We welcome students of all genders and abilities who want to get involved with hockey, keep active and become part of the club. You don't need any previous hockey experience to join – complete beginners are always welcome.
We also have a strong social side, with regular socials and events throughout the year. For us, joining hockey is just as much about the friendships, experiences and memories off the pitch as it is about what happens on it.
Whether you want to represent USW competitively, try hockey for the first time, improve your skills or simply meet a great group of people, there’s a place for you at USW Hockey.
Come along, give it a go and become part of the club! ❤️🏑
