About Us

Welcome to Cyber Forensics Newport (CFN)

We are a society that is based around trying to get students ready for getting jobs within the Tech world. Our society is trying to do this via attempting to allow students to network with industry with the help of USW, while also allowing them to get practical experiences. This is done through our events that we will be doing that can range from having a small lecture with industry then having an opportunity to network with said industry after, to doing CTFs or small exercises on practicals with given parameters and learning how to use what was taught to you in lessons and or within the society.

Another thing we are trying to do is allow students from different year groups to interact with and support one another, creating greater interaction and a more enjoyable learning environment. We are mainly based in Newport and are trying to set events at good times for the students.
