Returning students have until the 31st July to apply to the University for a sports scholarship.
The University of South Wales are pleased to invite applications from returning students for the USW Sport Scholarship. Successful applicants may be awarded £1,000 in recognition of their sporting achievements and contribution to University sport.
Initial application deadline: 31 July 2026
Returning students are encouraged to apply if they meet one or more of the following criteria:
- International representative honours at age-group or senior level.
- Membership of the top tier of your National Governing Body’s performance pathway.
- Significant experience at academy level or above in a professional sport.
- Continued success at national age-group or senior championships.
Applicants must provide two references confirming their sporting achievements, alongside a supporting statement. Students must be studying on a University of South Wales campus and meet the full eligibility requirements for the scholarship 2026/27 Sport Scholarships - University of South Wales
