The showdown of the year (at least until Varsity!) is happening on the 28th October at FitZone, where USW Open 2s take on USW Open 1s in a badminton battle that you don't want to miss!
The countdown is on until both our Badminton Open teams compete against each other in the Open Western Conference Cup. This is no regular competition - the Open Western Conference Cup is a knockout tournament, where the winner of this match will advance to the Quarter-Final against either Bristol 3s or UWE 2s.
It's on home soil... its against their own friends... the people they train with every week, who knows everyone's tricks and tactics... will the 1s take the win like they did on the 21st or will they crack under the pressure of competing against their own in such a high stakes competition? Maybe it's time for the 2s to pull it out of the bag and settle the score? Who knows what will happen?! I don't!
