Hello, I'm Kenul Herath. I'm the new SU Activities Officer. I applied for this role because I believe I'm a good fit. I have a lot of experience with sports and clubs at USW. Currently, I'm studying Computer Science as an undergraduate and I'm also a member of the University Badminton team.
In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and playing tennis and badminton. I'm also really into DIY crafting.

What Kenul is working on now
Varsity 2024
I am starting to undertake the organization of a Varsity event in collaboration with the University of the West of England, scheduled for the year 2024. This significant undertaking involves the meticulous planning, coordination, and execution of a prestigious inter-university competition. The event aims to foster healthy competition and camaraderie among students while showcasing their athletic talents on a grand stage. This endeavor not only demonstrates my commitment to event management but also highlights my dedication to creating enriching experiences within the realm of higher education.
Faculty Tournaments
I am in the process of strategizing the coordination of faculty-centered tournaments, featuring a carefully curated selection of sports disciplines. This initiative aims to provide an opportunity for faculty members to engage in spirited competition and camaraderie, fostering a dynamic and collaborative environment within the academic community.
