Students' Union Trustees

The University of South Wales Students’ Union is a vibrant, innovative Union whose main purpose is to provide representation and opportunities for the 30,000 students studying across the multiple campuses of the University of South Wales. The prime focus of USWSU is to ensure that it has the right people governing the organisation to help it achieve its’ charitable aims and to guarantee that its democratic process is truly representative of the entire student body; systems that must prove robust in the Union’s status as a registered charity.

To this end, the University of South Wales Students’ Union is seeking applications of interest to the posts of:

Trustees are the people responsible, under the governing document of the University of South Wales Students’ Union, for controlling the management and administration of the USWSU. The Trustees ensure that the organisation achieves its objectives and delivers for its members with a commitment to being student led.

An interest in the running of the Students’ Union, for the benefit of students is essential. If appointed, you will be expected to attend all meetings of the Trustee Board during the term of office.

Application for Trustee appointments should include a CV and covering letter (addressed to the Chair of the Board) and be submitted to; the covering letter must state which category of Trustee position is being applied for.
