CHANGE OF PONTYPRIDD GRADUATION VENUE

THE IDEA

Students wanted a change in the Pontypridd graduation venue.

ACTION

• SU President will talk to the Graduation team in the University about this feedback.

UPDATE

NOVEMBER 5TH

• The venue for graduation at Pontypridd will not be changed. Lots of hard work is put in by University staff and SU staff to provide an exemplary graduation experience at the students' campus of study.

WHAT YOU SAID

"Change of venue for graduation."

"Don't want to graduate in the sports hall - rent somewhere nicer. Other unis rent out Cardiff museum, why can't we?"

HOW IT WORKS

1. Students submit ideas during Change Week.

2. Teams of students gather to hack solutions to the biggest problems.

3. Teams pitch their ideas to a panel of University big wigs.

4. SU Officers and teams work with staff to make the ideas a reality.
